About the centre

Fostering innovation at Anna University, Trichy

Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute – Anna Business Incubation Research Foundation (EDII-ABIRF) is a Section 8 company at the University College of Engineering, BIT Campus, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli, supported by EDII Tamil Nadu. Since 2020 we have curated an ecosystem that gives early start-ups infrastructure, mentorship from seasoned professionals and industry connections.

From application to graduation

Apply online

Complete the incubatee application — nine short steps, and it saves as you type.

Screening

The committee assesses the idea for novelty, relevance and commercial viability.

Allotment

On approval you get workspace, lab access and a mentor, with charges agreed upfront.

Build & graduate

Tenure runs six months to three years against agreed incubation milestones.

Open to everyone

Book a seat, a room or lab time

You don't have to be an incubatee. Founders, students and researchers can all book the centre's spaces and equipment by the slot — no account needed.
